Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Social Media Strategist & Community Manager to spearhead our social media initiatives in a remote setting. This pivotal role involves crafting and executing a comprehensive social media strategy, managing engaging content, planning impactful campaigns, monitoring performance metrics, and actively engaging with our online community. The successful candidate will be instrumental in nurturing a vibrant online community, ensuring our social media platforms grow, engage, and inspire.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Integrated Media to develop a robust social media strategy that outlines roles, target audiences, objectives, and tailored content for various platforms.
- Oversee the management of cross-channel content calendars that include both original and curated materials tailored to specific audience needs.
- Partner with designers, copywriters, and other internal content creators to generate compelling multimedia content.
- Cultivate community engagement by initiating discussions, responding to comments, addressing inquiries, and fostering a positive user experience.
- Build and maintain relationships with organizations, influencers, and community groups to enhance reach and engagement.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and provide actionable insights to inform future strategies.
- Stay abreast of social media trends and platform updates to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Create and maintain social media playbooks, guidelines, and best practices, along with providing ongoing training for team members.
- Lead promotional efforts for live events such as webinars and workshops, including pre-event marketing, live coverage, and post-event engagement.
- Collaborate with advertising and PR teams to advise on social advertising and community engagement strategies.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing large online communities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-channel content calendars effectively.
- Strong collaborative skills for working with both internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to present ideas clearly.
- (Bonus) Experience with influencer engagement, social media advertising, or live event promotion.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in social media management and community engagement, with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- A solid understanding of social media advertising strategies and influencer partnerships is advantageous.

Compensation And Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this role is \(91,000 to \)102,000, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
